our story

Vintage black and white photo of Homewood, Illinois, showing a street corner with old cars, small shops, and a diner.

Welcome to Under the Still – Homewood’s Hidden Speakeasy

Also known back in the day as a “blind tiger,” this secret saloon is a nod to the roaring 1920s—when the drinks were strong, the music was live, and the nights were unforgettable. Tucked discreetly Under the Still, our Prohibition-inspired hideaway is where folks get dolled up, unwind, and celebrate life with cocktails, conversation, and a touch of rebellion.

But shhh… not just anyone gets in. The Blind Tiger Crew’s been laying low since the day we opened. Know the password, dress the part, and keep it hush-hush. We ain’t lookin’ to get raided.

See ya underground—if you know where to look.

“From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the inviting atmosphere and the attention to detail that permeates the entire venue”
